In 1967, at the age of 16, Jim Carroll was invited by his art teacher, Peter Watts, to assist with the production of Carolee Schneemann's performance Snows at the Martinique Theatre. Carroll operated the lights and is listed as a "roustabout" on the theater program, shown here. Below the program is a photograph of the stage set.
